Things just keep getting more and more complicated for our favorite liars over on ABC Family's hit smash Pretty Little Liars
. At the end of the last episode
, Spencer's showdown with her own shower (eh tu, shower?) finally motivated her to tell the girls about Toby.
If there were any doubts Spencer was about to spill the beans to Aria, Hanna, and Emily, this clip from next week's episode should put them to rest.
In the "Out of Sight, Out of Mind" clip Emily is having a difficult time processing the information that her sweet friend Toby is on the 'A' team. With the Spencer and Toby (or Spoby, if you will) of it all, it's easy to forget that the first liar to form a bond with our resident bad boy was actually Emily.
"He gave me the courage to come out," Emily says sadly. Since Toby and Spencer hooked up we haven't seen much of Emily and Toby bonding. But this clip reminds us there certainly was
a bond there and it's a hard one for Emily to break. Like almost every Spoby shipper in existence after last season's finale, Emily is wondering if maybe there's another explanation. Other things to look out for in the clip below:
- Aria's bedazzling disease has apparently spread to Hanna. She looks like what would happen if Sons of Anarchy
had a pretty blonde baby. Needless to say, it's a weird look.
- Emily gave Toby a book about motorcycles for his birthday last year. Aww!
- Emily finds a parking pass for Radley with the name E. Lamb. You need a parking pass for Radley? I thought everyone was welcome to roam the halls there at any time of day or night.
- Emily wants to find Toby and figure out what's happening, so Hanna suggests Emily go ask his parents where to find him. Does that mean we're finally going to meet the Cavanaughs?
