American actress Tammy Lynn Michaels was born on November 26, 1974 in Lafayette, Indiana. She grew to love acting in high school and after graduation, she moved to New York in order to pursue her career. While working as a waitress in a restaurant, she was discovered by a talent scout, and she later on moved to Los Angeles to act in the show Popular. Tammy Michaels has also appeared in That 80s Show,
The L Word , and Committed. She is openly gay and married to rock star Melissa Etheridge, with the two of them caring for their four children.
Nicole Julian is played by Tammy Michaels on the television series Popular. A troublemaker with a cruel streak, she grew up bullied and thus learned to fight back and be equally mean. She causes a number of problems, and is an off-again, on-again friend of Brooke.
