Pirate Master

-Reality Pirate Master follows the expeditions of 16 modern-day pirates as they sail around the Caribbean in search for hidden treasure worth $1 million. The pirates live aboard a pirate ship while collecting and deciphering clues to lead them to the treasure. Each week, one pirate will become the captain of the ship and one will be "cut adrift" at Pirate's Court. Pirate Master is hosted by Cameron Daddo and produced by Emmy Award-winning producer Mark Burnett.

Biography

Twenty five year old John Lakness is a Junior Scientist and Chippendale Dancer hailing from Carlisle, Massachusetts. While he was an Air Force cadet at the Air Force Academy in Colorado, he kept himself busy by studying physics. He then became part of the elite Quantum Electronics Group at MIT where he took classes. Later on he received his bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the most respected engineering school in the country. Lakness takes on two occupations at the same time, as he is a scientist by day and a Chippendale Dancer at night. To go to work, he does not use public transportation or a car; instead he bikes everywhere he wants to go. He also prefers riding horses bareback. Lakness’ other hobbies include triathlons, weight training and learning new things to feed his mind.

John Lakness is among sixteen contenders for a million dollar treasure on the new CBS reality show, Pirate Master. He is a competitive individual who is determined to win and when he does, spend his money on a billboard in the runner up's hometown.
