Hip-hop star and actor Xzibit was born Alvin Nathaniel Joiner IV on September 18, 1974. He was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico by his father and stepmother. His career in rap started with his membership with Likwit Crew, a group of rappers from the West Coast. His debut album, At the Speed of Life, was released in 1996, which became an underground hit. After a spell of non-commercial success, Xzibit had his big break when he teamed up with rap star Snoop Dogg for the single Bitch Please, produced by Dr. Dre. His most recent album is called Full Circle, released in October 2006.
Xzibit is the host of the hit MTV show, Pimp My Ride.
