Candace S. Flynn is the 15-year-old daughter of Linda and Lawrence Flynn. She knows all the things that stepbrothers Phineas and Ferb are doing and inventing. She always tries to tattle on them to her mom and dad but her parents don't believe her. This is because every time she tells them that the two are in trouble, Phineas and Ferb show up looking perfectly normal and innocent.
A typical teenager, Candace can be found usually holding her cell phone or cuddling her teddy bear named Mr. Higgins. She also has a love interest, Jeremy. Candace also likes munching grilled cheese.
One thing about Candace is that she’s allergic to dairy products. When exposed to a lot of it, her face turns red and puffy. Her voice is also affected when her allergies attack, it becomes deeper and she suddenly acts like a blues singer. Another piece of trivia about this girl is her fear of heights. She also gets sick whenever she hangs on monkey bars.
Candace has a talent for singing and can play some musical instruments. She also has her own Panic Room, a place where she checks herself into when she goes crazy.
She doesn’t like her brothers’ antics and it makes her mad that they always get away with it. She has her own goals in life but she’s always interrupted in achieving them because she spends too much energy in trying to get her brothers caught.
It may seem that she’s always angry at Phineas and Ferb but underneath all the fights, Candace loves them dearly. The two also love her just as much and they even remodel her tree house for her. Candace eventually learns to appreciate the summer plans of Phineas and Ferb.
Candace Flynn is a character on Disney Channel’s animated series Phineas and Ferb. She is voiced by actress and singer Ashley Tisdale, the same person who worked on The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Kim Possible and High School Musical.
