Person of Interest airs a special episode on Tuesday, called "Lady Killer." It's the first time that the ladies of the team, including Carter, Shaw and Zoe work together to help catch what looks like a very bad man.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
BuddyTV was there for a special screening of the episode, followed by a Q&A with executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Greg Plageman. Stay tuned for spoilers from the Q&A coming soon.
Here are 5 things you should know about the episode.
Nothing is What it Seems
And when we say "nothing," we mean it. Even the title of this episode is deceptive. While it seems to apply to the POI of the week, it can also easily be applied to another character. To say anymore would give away too much so we'll just say that there's more than one definition of the term and leave it at that.
Bear Gets a New Admirer
The furriest member of the team isn't overly involved in the case in this episode, but that doesn't mean Bear isn't on screen a lot. Turns out Bear has a new admirer of his own and discovering who that is will turn out to be a big clue about that person and their background.
Root's Story Gets a Big Bump
While Carter, Shaw and Zoe are off after their lady killer suspect, Root isn't just sitting by doing nothing. She's another lady with a lot to do in this episode and by the end, her story gets a huge bump that will send her off into a very surprising direction.
There's a Lot of Heart
You'd think that an episode about a man who is possibly stalking and killing women wouldn't go much beyond action, but this story does. There's a surprise that happens about halfway through the episode that turns the story completely on its head. In fact, one of the main characters will become linked to the story in such a way that it had us wondering if we might not see more of this story in the future.
The Machine is Really On Her Game
Between Carter, Shaw, Zoe and Root, there's a lot of feminine wiles being displayed in this episode and the Machine has some of her own. Now that the Machine has been dubbed a "she" by Root, we're ready to include her in the ladies that do a fantastic job in this episode. Just how what She does and how She does it is too glorious of a surprise though, so we'll just let you see her antics for yourself.
