NBC is the first network to announce its fall premiere dates, and some of its shows are getting a very early start. Due to NBC's coverage of the Olympics, the network will be launching some of its new shows in August to get a big boost.

Parenthood is available on Amazon Prime.

New comedies Go On (starring Matthew Perry) and Animal Practice (starring the Hangover monkey) will get special debuts during the Olympics. Both will air commercial-free as sneak peeks before they begin in their regular time slots in September. Grimm will also get an early August premiere for its second season on Monday.

In addition to the fall shows, NBC has another new show it will air for several weeks at the end of summer. In Stars Earn Stripes, nine celebrities will take on rigorous military training to see who has the right stuff.

Meanwhile, shows like 30 Rock, Community and the new drama Chicago Fire won't premiere until October.
