Kristin Rohde is an American performer and actress who has worked on a number of television productions and films. Among the TV shows that she has acted in are
Law and Order: Criminal Intent, The Bedford Diaries,
One Life to Live, and Homicide: Life on the Street. Rohde also had a role in the 1996 feature film The Shot.
Claire Howell is portrayed by Kristin Rohde in the HBO prison drama television series Oz. She is a violent and sadistic sexual predator who goes after all of the men in the titular prison facility, both the inmates and the guards, and treats them like living sex toys for her pleasure and domination. Claire initially forays into a relationship with Tim McManus, the unit manager of the Emerald City. However, when he chooses to break off the affair, she files a sexual harassment charge against him. As for the prisoners, she is constantly aggressive against them and has sex with as many of them as possible. Some of the men she has slept with are Chris Keller, Carlos Martinez, and Ryan O’Reily. She beats up Keller after he decides not to have sex with her anymore. Eventually she finds out she is pregnant, and starts to feel the first stirrings of responsibility, since she doesn’t want to abort the child.
