Orphan Black was one of the most buzzed about shows of 2013 and will be returning for season 2 this spring. At the BBC America Winter TCA Press Tour, Tatina Maslany, Jordan Gavaris, and the co-creator, Graeme Manson spoke with reporters about the show's success and upcoming season.

Spoiler alert: This article contains Orphan Black spoilers. You've been warned.

First Scene of the Season 2 Premiere

Prior to the panel discussion, BBC America screened the opening scene for Orphan Black season 2 premiere. It begins in the aftermath of Kira's kidnapping. Sarah runs down the street screaming for her daughter.

She stops at a diner and calls Felix, but his phone number isn't in service. She then calls Paul and gets his voice mail. She asks, "What the hell is going one? Did Rachel take my family?"

Sarah is distraught. Her call is answered and she's told she needs to surrender herself if she wants to be reunited with Kira. Will Sarah give in to their demands? We'll have to wait until April 19 to find out!

Shots Fired

At the diner, two men show up. Both a gun and a shotgun are fired. And, both bullets hit their target! Who was shot? Again ... The answer is April 19!

Who's Felix?

In season 2, Felix's back story will be explored. Gavaris teased, "I think what season 2 helps to do is establish him as an individual with his own identity and as a multifaceted human and not just a plot device or not just someone who's there to facilitate whatever
Sarah's crazy idea is that day."

Felix's social circle will expand as well. Manson explains, "His relationship with Sarah is tested in our new season as well, as well as he creates new friendships and allegiances with some of the other clones.

Cosima's Mortality

In season 1, Cosima developed a disease that could affect all of the clones. In season 2, her mortality will be examined further. Maslany explains, "The one who appeared to maybe be the lightest and the most buoyant and the most full of life is now facing the science gone wrong."

Cosima's situation is difficult for Manson, "I mean it's hard because she's my favorite clone and we are putting her in this really heart-breaking position, and yet,, she's almost as brave as Sarah in a lot of ways.

Orphan Black season 2 premieres on Saturday, April 19 at 9 pm ET on BBC America.
