BBC America Releases Season 2 Trailers and Premiere Date for 'Orphan Black'

Orphan Black fans, mark your calendars! BBC America's clone drama thriller will kick off its second season on Saturday, April 19 at 9pm ET/PT. The 10-episode upcoming season puts the spotlight on Sarah's mission to find her missing daughter Kira, her struggles with Proclone Rachel and her quest to unearth her past.


Orphan Black is available on Amazon Prime.


The announcement of the new season of Orphan Black comes with new trailers, which made their debut during the broadcast of The Day of the Doctor, Doctor Who's 50th Anniversary Special. 






Orphan Black, which is currently shooting and is expected to be in production until February, stars Tatiana Maslany as various identical women who are revealed to be clones. So far, Maslany has won a Critics' Choice Television Award, Television Critics Association Award, and a Young Hollywood Award while the series has won an EWwy Award for Best Drama Series and a Tubey Award for Best New Show. Maslany has also been nominated at the 2014 People's Choice Award for Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy Actress.
