Things are about to get complicated for Chase on One Tree Hill. The next episode, "Don't You Want to Share the Guilt?," marks the arrival of the newest bad girl in town, Tara. Played by Dancing with the Stars contestant Chelsea Kane (who is also Stephen Colletti's real-life girlfriend), Tara will certainly make the lives of many Tree Hill residents more complicated.

Tara is the owner of the new gourmet diner that opened across the street from Karen's Cafe, making her Haley's newest enemy, but she'll also be there to help Chase get over his broken heart. Will Chase choose hot rebound sex with the new girl or loyalty to Haley?

According to One Tree Hill creator Mark Schwahn, Tara is the latest antagonist to enter the show for its final season, joining Dan Scott and Chris Keller in the "causing drama" department. Schwahn seems to think the last few seasons have lacked strong antagonists, but if he doesn't count Renee the blackmailer or Krazy Katie the tennis playing psychopath, then Tara must be full of more drama than we can imagine.



Whatever she's up to, it's safe to assume that her pretty face and smile aren't that innocent and that Chase should be careful, because sleeping with the enemy can't definitely cause some problems.

One Tree Hill airs Wednesdays at 8pm on the CW.
