With Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) and Peyton (Hilarie Burton) gone, will
One Tree Hill ever be the same? Or will it be better than ever? We find out tonight as The CW series returns for its seventh season with the episode called "4:30 a.m. (Apparently They Were Traveling Abroad)," which is some sort of allusion to Waters Roger's song.
But before anything else, let's sum up what happened last time we saw
One Tree Hill: After tying the knot and welcoming their baby, Lucas and Peyton decided to leave Tree Hill for good; Brooke (Sophia Bush) made amends with Victoria and put her future with Julian (Austin Nichols) back on track; Nathan was invited to join the Charlotte Bobcats while evil Dan (Paul Johansson) was on his deathbed. And the rest was - more or less - history.

One Tree Hill Season 7 SpoilersInterview with Robert BuckleyI have to admit that I don't really know what to expect this season because I haven't been diligently following
One Tree Hill. But I'm glad that my lack of knowledge from past seasons won't hinder me from enjoying what's to come since the show is set one year after the season 6 finale. With all that time-jump and the addition of new cast members, it's as if the show is starting from a clean slate again.
Still, we get an idea of what has happened so far for some of Tree Hill's old timers. Dan has seemingly turned a new leaf after dodging death, Hayley's (Bethany Joy Galeotti) back pursuing her music career, Brooke and Julian now have a more solid relationship as they canoodle on the beach while Nathan is still a rising star in the NBA. We also get a glimpse of Haley's sister Quinn (Shantel VanSanten) and Nathan's sports agent, Clay (Robert Buckley). But that's just the first couple of minutes of the season opener.
Season 7 really kicks off when Nathan learns of a shocking accusation that could threaten his career, much to the disappointment of his sports agent. Something tells me this is the kind of scandal that might put a dent in Nathan and Hayley's marriage but hopefully, they'll be able to fix it in time for Jamie's (Jackson Brundage) 7th birthday.
Meanwhile, Brooke and Julian have a lot on their plate besides their fiery love affair because as Brook prepares to launch her new fashion line, Julian decides to produce a big movie. Haley, on the other hand, has to deal with a surprise visit from her sister Quinn, who arrives with a bag of problems but hopes to find a solution in Tree Hill.
