One Tree Hill: One More New Name Will Keep Watch Over The Record Label
Turns out they're adding four new characters to the upcoming season of One Tree Hill, as they continue transitioning into what I still love calling a Lucas-less existence.  Robert Buckley, Shantel VanSanten and Jana Kramer have already jumped into roles, and this time, another new name is taking the plunge.

Actress India de Beaufort has been confirmed to join the cast of the CW drama, which will premiere on September 14.  Series creator Mark Schwahn told TV Guide Magazine that the actress will play Miranda Stone, "a smart, successful record executive who has been sent to Tree Hill to oversee the day to day operations of boutique label Red Bedroom Records."  So, as it turns out, Peyton's departure from Tree Hill will not exactly leave a hole in the show's ecosystem--although, if I may ask, does that open the window for her possibly appearing as a guest in the future?

de Beaufort's done only a couple of television shows, last I checked, both of which are strange to me--one aired in the United Kingdom, where she was born, and the other's a Comedy Central series, Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire, which I haven't heard of, oddly.  She's also appeared in the 2007 comedy Run Fatboy Run.
