One Tree Hill: Episode 6.6 "Choosing My Own Way of Life" Recap (Page 1/3)
One Tree Hill may have taken a week off between new episodes, but at least the previous installment was jam-packed with big events.  The best twist was the resolution to the Nanny Carrie storyline, which finally came to an end after Dan shot her in the face.  He even saved the lives of Haley and Jamie in the process, which just might win him points with Nathan.  Aside from that hilarity, Mick let Peyton down by ditching their dinner date, Lucas wrapped things up with Lindsey, and Brooke bonded with Rebel Sam.

On tonight's One Tree Hill, Dan teaches Jamie why ice cream is better than vegetables, and Nathan considers a future as a Slamball player.

Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) is preparing for the start of his book tour as One Tree Hill kicks off.  His first stop is the bustling metropolis known as Omaha, where he'll get to see Mouth while he signs things for all his adoring fans.  As Lucas takes off for the thrilling land of Nebraska, Peyton finds Mick passed out drunk in the studio.  They have a confrontation after he wakes up, and he finally admits that he's her real father.  He never told her because he knew he'd be a crappy dad, which is something he's certainly living up to.

As Nathan (James Lafferty) and Haley cut through the empty shop class at school, they find Rebel Sam sleeping in a car.  That's when we learn that the sullen young girl lives in a foster home and has no one to love her.  Snore.  Haley wants to help her, but Sam is a REBEL and doesn't need help from anyone.

Millicent wants to help Brooke with her company, but first she encourages her friend to go out and live a little.  One thing on Brooke's to-do list is to watch every James Bond movie, which is something I keep meaning to do and have absolutely no time for.  Maybe I should go hang out with Brooke and we can have a marathon.  Later, Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) shows up at the store and asks Brooke if she'd like to be Sam's foster parent.  Is it even legally possible to just pawn off a young girl on your best friend?  Brooke declines the offer, thinking that raising a teenager is too much work.
