One Tree Hill: Episode 6.3 "Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly" Recap
Last week's episode of One Tree Hill contained a shocking tragedy, and I'm not talking about the fact that Dan (Paul Johannson) didn't get enough screen time.  Quentin went into a gas station in the middle of a robbery and got shot in the back of the head, which killed him instantly.  Meanwhile, Peyton was dumb enough to believe that Brooke sustained horrible injuries while doing laundry, while Brooke was actually confiding in Deb and learning how to shoot a gun.  I hope Brooke nicknames herself Dirty Harriet and starts dispensing vigilante justice around town.

On tonight's episode of One Tree Hill, Quentin's funeral brings everyone together, and Jamie breaks all of our hearts by reacting to the news.

One Tree Hill kicks off with everyone reacting to the news of Quentin's death.  Skills heads to Lucas's place the instant he finds out, Haley breaks the news to Nathan at the basketball court, and Brooke tosses clothes out of her store and onto the sidewalk.  Did Brooke even know Quentin, or is her fabric throwing the result of something else?  Death is no reason to ruin perfectly good clothing!  Anyway, Haley and Nathan explain Q's death to Jamie (Jackson Brundage), but he has trouble understanding what's going on.  He just wants to give Quentin his cape. *sniff*

Peyton (Hilarie Burton) finds Brooke having a sartorial meltdown, and it turns out she's not upset over Quentin, but pissed at her mother, her mugging, and life in general.  Brooke demands her house key back, but feels a twinge of guilt when Peyton tells her about Q.   As this Very Special Episode continues, Haley breaks the news to her students, Lucas and Skills bond over their grief on the court, and Jamie asks Nathan if he can keep Q's jersey.

Thankfully, touching Afterschool Specials about death have no place over at Nanny Carrie's Torture Shack, where she's once again reminding Dan of her evil plan to kidnap Jamie.  Dan insists that no one will let him near the kid, but Carrie thinks otherwise.  She plans to lure Haley over and frame Dan for her murder while she runs off with Jamie.  She even stole Dan's gun from his beach house to get things started.  Ah, Nanny Carrie is SO going to get her comeuppance soon.  I can feel it!
