One Tree Hill: Did Brian Austin Green Turn Down The Part?
Brian Austin Green on One Tree HillYeah, that's already out, and if rumors are to be believed, negotiations between him and the show's producers are all but finished, and pending the last few kinks, he'll be appearing as a sports agent to Nathan.  But maybe not.

Now, there are rumors that Green ultimately passed on the offer.  The reasons are, well, very much unknown.  What that source told Zap2it, though, is pretty interesting--Green was, apparently, offered the same amount of money per episode that Chad Michael Murray made during the last season.  Of course, we all know that Murray, along with Hilarie Burton, left the show last season, which thus accounts for the producers' push to introduce three new characters, including that sports agent named Clayton.
Of course, there's no official word yet on Green's status--after all, we still don't know whether he's really made the decision to take the role.  What's interesting, though, was what he was up to before all these rumors came up.  I'm referring to Body Politic, that pilot for the CW which also featured Friday Night Lights' Minka Kelly--which, as has been told over and over again, was not picked up by the network.

Lately, however, buzz for that pilot has been pretty good--I've seen a couple of articles already singing praises for the show, and lamenting the fact that it hasn't been picked up.  Then again, the show might be picked up for the midseason, and if I remember correctly, there's still one slot on the CW for a new midseason show.  Maybe he's hoping for the best on that one, and has decided to pass on the OTH part to get, uhh, a little more serious?

That leap of faith might cost him, though.  Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, where Green just came from, ain't coming back.  Unless, of course, he fancies a vacation...
