You can tell the Fall season is coming, because the networks are going into high gear to promote their new and returning shows.  For One Tree Hill, fans have wondered how the show would handle losing stars Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton.  Perhaps this first video look at season 7 will let us know.

The video is short, but it focuses on Julian and Brooke, possibly indicating that they become the new romantic leads of One Tree Hill and not Nathan and Haley.  It's also fu to see the two share a From Here to Eternity moment, making out on the beach as the tides rolls in.  If you're too young to get that reference, ask your parents or grandparents.

I'd say this is a good decision, mostly because, much as I enjoy Nathan and Haley (and especially Jamie), they would be boring as a leading couple.  They're too happy, and even though crazy nannies and sisters have come between them, they are in love and there's never any real danger of them breaking up.

Brooke, on the other hand, is wild and unpredictable, and her relationships are full of ups and downs and betrayals.  Also, if the beachside make-out session is any indication, maybe Julian will continue to re-enact famous movie moments to win Brooke's heart.

Find out how the new One Tree Hill will deal with losing its stars when season 7 premieres Monday September 14 now at 8pm.
