One Tree Hill: Episode 6.8 "Our Life is Not a Movie or Maybe" Recap (Page 2/3)
Brooke (Sophia Bush) is regretting her decision to turn the company over to that "slunt" Victoria.  That's officially my new favorite derogatory term.  Victoria claims that she owns the Baby Brooke line on top of everything else, so it's time for the off-screen legal battles to begin.  While Brooke stresses over finishing Peyton's wedding dress, Lucas stops by to get her approval on the movie.  This allows for another brilliant meta reference when Brooke mentions that some random hot chick from the CW will probably play her.  Ha!  If the entire movie plot line ends up being this clever and fun, I hope it lasts forever.

Gigi is incapable of being professional.  She constantly flirts with Mouth (Lee Norris) on the job, and continues teasing him despite having an awkward meeting with Millicent.  Milly plants a kiss on her boyfriend to mark her territory, but that doesn't stop Gigi from acting like a total slunt every time he's around.  See, I've already learned how to use that word in a sentence!

Nathan shows up at Brooke's place to put in a good word about Owen, who just happens to have tagged along.  While Owen apologizes for his dickish ways, Sam convinces Jamie (Jackson Brundage) to sneak out and go to a wild party.  After all, he's never done anything crazy and rebellious intentionally, so it's time to start causing some trouble.

While Lucas weighs the movie offer in Tree Hill, Peyton (Hilarie Burton) goes to visit Derek at the military academy.  We haven't seen him in ages, so it's nice to have him back on the show for an episode.  They catch up with each other, bond over their crappy father, and eventually decide to put on a USO show.  We won't be seeing that big concert for two weeks, but we can look forward to plenty of musical performances.
