Mouth (
Lee Norris) surprises Millicent by returning to town unannounced, then decides he's going to head to the TV station to get his old job back. Because this is
One Tree Hill, the station begs Mouth to return and asks him to start the next day. I highly doubt such a thing would happen in the midst of our crappy economy and sky high unemployment rates, but we don't watch this show for realism. Mouth is shocked to find that his ex-girlfriend Gigi is now his intern.
Lucas is willing to admit that "Friday I'm in Love" is a decent song by The Cure, but he's not happy about Peyton's suggestion that they move into Karen's old room. Lucas thinks it's creepy, but he's so whipped that he agrees to do it anyway. Unfortunately, he can't manage to get it up the first time they try to do it in his mom's bed, which Peyton finds hilarious. The next day, Lucas follows another piece of advice from
B. Davis magazine and divides the house with tape, thus giving him his own personal space. That's when the household wars begin. Peyton steals the remote because it's on her side of the tape, Lucas shuts the power off, Peyton texts a romantic message to Fergie using Lucas's phone, and on and on. I think I'm done recapping this boring nonsense, so let's move on.
Haley (
Bethany Joy Galeotti) meets a fan and fellow musician named Grace strumming her guitar down by the waterfront. She wants to know when Haley's next album is coming out, because her first was the most amazing thing ever recorded since the discovery of sound. When she gets to school, Haley tries to talk to the bully's mom about her son's behavior. It's a nice attempt, but the women is such a bitch that they end up getting into a shoving match. Nathan (
James Lafferty) offers to diffuse the situation in a less volatile fashion, and does so by showing up at Jamie's school in a cape of his own. Once the kids watch him dunk a basketball while wearing the awesome fashion accessory, they all want one of their own.
