One Tree Hill: Episode 6.3 "Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly" Recap (Page 2/3)
While the adults visit with Quentin's mother, Jamie bonds with his little brother, Dre.  They share an adorable moment on a swingset where they chat about their lives, and I suddenly long for them to get their own wacky spin-off on Nickelodeon.  I think I'll call it Tree Hill Tots.  Q's mom thanks Skills (Antwon Tanner), Haley and Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) for helping her son become a better person, then spouts something about loving Jesus before the trio takes off.  Before they leave, Jamie gives Quentin's jersey to Dre, telling him he should have it.

Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) isn't sure if Jamie should go to the funeral, so Nathan shares some creepy tale about how Dan made him kiss his dead grandfather when he was a kid.  The only point to the story is to reiterate that Dan is the worst father ever, and that perhaps Jamie is too young to see a dead body.  Meanwhile, Deb tries to comfort Skills, but he's too depressed for the hot MILF loving.

Brooke is so traumatized by “falling down the stairs” that she rattles off statistics about assaults and deaths while everyone is gathered at the Scott house.  The only thing better than an Afterschool Special is an Afterschool Special that comes with a walking pamphlet.  Brooke apologizes for being so dour in front of Jamie, then goes outside where Haley comforts her.

Over in Misery 5: This Plot Line is Totally Out of Place in This Episode, Dan escapes from his restraints and manages to make his way to the backyard.  That's where he sees a grave that belongs to Nanny Carrie's dead son!  Gasp!  Apparently, bitch is crazy because she lost her baby.  Good to know.  She whacks Dan in the face with a shovel before he can flee any further.

Meet Samantha Walker.  She's a new student in Haley's class, and she also happens to be the girl who shoplifted from Clothes Over Bro's.  She's a REBEL, and she doesn't take out paper and a pen when she's told to.  I can already tell I'm going to hate her.  Haley asks all the students to write something about Quentin, and also encourages them to scribble dedications to him on his old desk.  After some more dreary mourning, this time from the Ravens, Brooke (Sophia Bush) apologizes to Peyton and gives her the house key back.  She's chilled out a little and no longer feels like tossing clothes into the street.
