This episode has only been on five minutes and already Lucas, Nathan and Quentin have been shirtless.  Maybe this is a very special topless episode of One Tree Hill.  While Nathan (James Lafferty) gets sweaty playing basketball, Brooke calls Peyton for support after the robbery.  Though her face is terribly bruised, she decides not to bring Peyton down with the bad news.  Instead she calls Deb, who rushes to her side and comforts her.  She advises Brooke to call the police, but Brooke would rather borrow Deb's gun and go out for some target practice.

Skills (Antwon Tanner) wants to know how hard it was for Nathan to keep his relationship with Haley a secret from Lucas in the early days.  Jamie knows exactly why he's asking that question, but he keeps it to himself.  Meanwhile, Quentin is excelling in school and bonding more closely with Jamie.  I'm sure nothing bad will ever happen to him and he'll live a long, happy life.

Deb (Barbara Alyn Woods) meets up with Skills for some hot loving, but she's not in the mood for sexy shenanigans thanks to Brooke's trauma.  Skills gives her some advice and they share a sweet kiss, proving that there's more to their relationship than naughty underwater action.

Peyton arrives home and finds that Brooke's face is all purple and nasty.  Brooke (Sophia Bush) makes up some excuse about getting tangled up in some sheets and falling down the stairs while doing laundry, and for some reason P Sawyer totally buys it.  Oh Peyton, do you think she landed on her EYES?  Just to add insult to really brutal injuries, Peyton tells Brooke that she's moving in with Lucas.

Lucas (Chad Michael Murray) shows up at Haley's and tells her about his engagement to Peyton, which results in a heartfelt congratulations.  After he takes off, Jamie and Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) get to work on making Quentin a cape.  Apparently, he's a big fan of Jamie's favorite fashion accessory, so they might as well make him his own.  Quentin's superhero stint is put on hold when Haley discovers a half empty bottle of pain medication in the bathroom.  She immediately assumes Deb is pill popping again, but they're actually Nathan's non-addictive way of coping with his back pain.
