One Tree Hill: Sneak Peek at Episode 5.6

James LaffertyLast Tuesday's episode of One Tree Hill was set three years in the past, and helped to explain some of the changes in the lives of Lucas (Chad Michael Murray), Peyton (Hilarie Burton), and Brooke (Sophia Bush).  The episode airing on February 5, entitled "Don't Dream It's Over" will drop the flashbacks and get back to the current storylines.  It looks like this installment will revolve heavily around Nathan and Haley's new nanny, Carrie, who may not be the sweet girl next door she first appeared to be.  The CW recently released a clip from the episode online which shows us the potential seductress in action.

The clip kicks off with Nathan (James Lafferty) in the pool doing some rehab exercises for his legs.  Jamie comes and jumps in, and of course Carrie follows.  At first she's clad in a tasteful bathrobe, but she quickly ditches that get up and strips down to her sexy bikini.  She gets in the pool and starts a splash fight, and with a cry of "Yeah, get me daddy," she starts a playful wrestling much that looks like a bit too much fun.  Unfortunately Haley (Bethany Joy Galeotti) is standing nearby during all of this, and she certainly doesn't look pleased.

The instant Carrie came on the scene I knew she was nothing but trouble.  The last thing that any character in a soapy drama should do is a hire a young, sexy nanny to watch her kid while she works all day.  That's just asking for awkwardness, as anyone who has seen The Hand that Rocks the Cradle can attest to.  Somehow I doubt nanny Carrie will end up impaled on a fence post like the evil nanny of that movie, but fans may wish for a similar fate if she ends up seducing Nathan.

"Don't Dream It's Over" will air Tuesday at 9pm on the CW.  You can check out the clip for yourself below.
