The CW may nearly be done with their series of
One Tree Hill fast forward videos, but fans still needing a fix of the teen drama are in luck. Five new twenty-second promotional videos have appeared on YouTube, with each one revolving around a different character from the series. The videos that are currently up focus on Lucas, Nathan, Peyton, and Brooke, with a group one also added. Additional videos on the way will include Haley, Mouth, and Skills.
The Lucas (
Chad Michael Murray) video focuses on his new career as an author, and also shows him looking at what may be an engagement ring, while Nathan's (
James Lafferty) clip focuses on a side of him that we didn't see in the CW fast forward. Not only does he have a beard, which seems to be all the rage among troubled television characters lately, but he also seems very bitter and angry about his lack of a basketball career. He's also seen saying that he doesn't want his son to play the game, even though the boy longs to be like his father.
In Peyton's (
Hilarie Burton) segment, we hear her say "I want to discover bands that could change someone's life" while Kevin Federline is seen rapping on stage at Tric. I don't think that was supposed to be comical, but I certainly thought it was. It appears that Peyton will be struggling with her career, as she is still "the assistant to the assistant" and doesn't know what she wants to do with her life.
As for Brooke (
Sophia Bush), she's busy living in luxury thanks to her clothing line. We see her getting interviewed on the red carpet and lounging in her swanky office. The group video is basically a combination of all of the above, and also shows glimpses of Mouth (
Lee Norris) as an announcer, Haley (
Bethany Joy Galeotti) with her son, Nathan getting in a fight, and Lucas proposing to Peyton.
One Tree Hill returns with a two-hour event on January 8, but until then you can watch the promo videos below.
