Melissa Gallo, who was born on August 19, 1982 in New Jersey, was cast as Adriana Colón Cramer on ABC's One Life to Live in 2004. She is the daughter of Cuban-born parents who moved to the United States in their teenage years. Gallo was educated at New York University, where she graduated with a degree in Fine Arts and Drama. Aside from acting, Gallo's interests also include dancing, reading and watching theater productions.
Adriana Colón Cramer is played by Melissa Gallo in One Life to Live. Adriana came to Llanview to stay with her godmother, Carlotta Vega over the summer. There she met and fell in love with River Carpenter, unfortunately, Carlotta was against the relationship and did everything in her power to separate the lovers. Carlotta then sent Adriana to a convent school in Puerto Rico however, River tracked her down and brought her back to Llanview in 2004.
