Born on October 22, 1982 and hailing from Stillwater, Oklahoma, Beth Ann Bonner completed her studies at Emerson Performing Arts College in Boston. Upon graduation, she moved to California to pursue an acting career and became one of three finalists on SoapNet's I Wanna Be a Soap Star. From then on Bonner was asked to play the role of Talia Sahid on the soap opera One Life to Live.
Talia Sahid is played by Beth Ann Bonner on One Life to Live. An investigator under the Llanview, Pennsylvania Police Department, Talia originated from the NYPD and started investigating the string of fires that have broken out in Llanview. She uncovered the truth with detectives Evangeline Williamson and Antonio Vega, that the fires were caused by a white supremacy group called One Pure People. Talia also became a target of the group as she had Syrian heritage. In one incident, Talia, Evangeline, Cristian Vega and Nora Hanen were trapped and gassed inside an apartment. Evangeline went into a coma while the three survived. Tate Harmon was revealed to be the mastermind of the incident, and Talia shot him on the shoulder as he attempted to murder a handful of people.
