One Life to Live: SOAPNet Invites Fans to Send Secrets in Time for "Go Red Ball"
As all One Life to Live fans know, the residents of Llanview are gearing up for the American Heart Association's “Go Red Ball,” spilling major secrets along the way.  Now, in a move that brings viewer participation on a new level, SOAPnet is inviting fans to send their own secrets during the “OLTL Marathon: Secrets Exposed” on Sunday, February 17.

From now until the day of the marathon, fans can send their secrets to SOAPNet, which will air the juiciest and most scandalous during the five-hour special run of One Life to Live, which will begin at 12nn.  The cable network will also be revealing some clues about upcoming storylines on the ABC soap.

One Life to Live fans who want to share their secrets should follow these three easy steps: text SECRET followed by the actual secret to 94999.  The text should include the sender's name and state, as well.  Next, the sender will receive a confirmation text from SOAPnet saying that his/her message has been received.  Finally, the sender can tune in to the One Life to Live marathon to find out if his/her secret was chosen, and what to expect in the upcoming episodes of the soap.

Meanwhile, the “Go Red Ball” storyline on One Life to Live begins on Monday, February 11.  The ball, which will be hosted by Viki (Erica Slezak) and Dorian (Robin Strasser) is a fund raiser to benefit heart health awareness.

"It makes sense, since she has her dead husband's heart in a transplant," Strasser told Soap Opera Weekly, "and I am a medical doctor, as Dorian loves to tell people."

Since a ball is a formal event, expect to see the show's stars dressed in glamorous evening gowns and tuxedos.  Soap Opera Weekly reports that Farah Fath's Gigi will be a big hit at the ball, trading her Bon Jour café uniform for a stunning red dress at the insistence of Viki.  Beth Ann Bonner's Talia will also be stepping out of her work clothes, donning a simple gown made by Calvin Klein.  She'll be attending the ball with Antonio (Kamar de los Reyes), but because Bo (Robert S. Woods) has prohibited dating between co-workers, the couple is forced to sneak around.

Hunt Block will be seen wearing a tuxedo with no red lining or accessory, as costume designer Susan Gammie said that his character, Lee Ramsey, is “an outsider.”
