Once Upon a Time is headed back to Storybrooke in season 3 episode 7, "Dark Hollow." With the Evil Queen and Rumple in Neverland, the town has probably been a joy to live in without their constant plotting and manipulations. That is, of course, if Belle was able to get the cloaking spell to work.
Last month from the Once Upon a Time set, Emilie de Ravin teased a little about what Belle's been up to in Storybrooke, "[Belle's] really desperately trying to first of all inform everyone of what's going on and what happened with Henry. And, she's obviously the only one left from that group who can tell [them]"
"With her cloaking spell ... She's got a lot of responsibility to try and get that spell up as soon as possible and be their sort of mother in a way. It's kinda cool."
In Storybrooke, Belle is left with Mother Superior, the Seven Dwarves, Granny, Jiminy and "... basically everyone who was left there she's interacting with which is kinda cool because these are people that she hasn't really spent that much time with friendship wise. And, she also becomes friends possibly with a little red-headed mermaid which has been really fun."
In addition to new friends, Belle will be sporting a new look. de Ravin was excited to leave the Lacey clothes behind, "I have a pretty cool outfit actually in Storybrooke. I'm enjoying that one. I get to change out of the Lacey outfit. Thank God. The stocking dress. That's not a dress. That's a stocking that's shaped like a dress."
At the end of last Sunday's episode, Regina made a deal with Ariel to return to Storybrooke to procure a mysterious item to help them in Neverland, but it's not going to be an easy task. Ariel's not the only one headed to town.
The Home Office sends two representatives to Storybrooke to prevent Ariel from succeeding in her assignment. Will the Home Office succeed? Or, will Ariel be able to get the much needed artifact back to Neverland.
Check out a clip of Ariel's arrival to Storybrooke and meet the Home Office's nefarious men too!
It's only been five days since the Jolly Roger left Storybrooke. A lot has happened in Neverland over that amount of time, while in Storybrooke it seems that they've been crisis-free. It sounds like the cloaking spell has worked ... but with the Home Office's arrival that's all going to change.
If the artifact makes it back to Neverland, it may be able to save them all and get them home. Though, with Belle in Storybrooke and Rumple with a death wish in Neverland, will these two ever be truly reunited? de Ravin believes it's possible, ,"I think there's a chance. I hope so."
