Once Upon a Time  doesn't return to your television screen for a couple weeks, but you don't have to wait that long for scoop about what's coming up for our fairy tale friends. Next up, the Giant (Jorge Garcia) returns and not quite as we saw him last on "Tiny." We also have news about some new characters that will be introduced.

Spoiler alert: This article contains Once Upon a Time spoilers and clips. You've been warned.

Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

The official synopsis from ABC for "Tiny" is very revealing:

Kidnapped and brought to Storybrooke by Cora, the Giant (Jorge Garcia) unleashes his vengeance on the town when a case of mistaken identity leads him to try and settle an old score with David; Mr. Gold, accompanied by Emma and Henry, attempts to depart Storybrooke - hoping to keep his memory intact when he crosses the town line -- and heads to the airport in search of his son Bae; and Greg (Ethan Embry) questions Belle as to what she saw on the night of his car accident. Meanwhile, in the fairy tale land that was and against his brothers' wishes, Anton, the Giant, climbs down the beanstalk and attempts to befriend some humans - whose intentions may not be so noble.

According to TV Line, one of the humans that Anton meets is "Jack" played by Cassidy Freeman (Longmire,Smallville) pictured below. How's that for a twist?

In addition to Jack, a few other characters have been cast including Snow's mother, Queen Eva, who will be played by Rena Sofer (NCIS) according to TV Guide

Also, a mysterious father-son pairing will be arriving on episode 17. Ben (John Pyper-Ferguson, Brothers and Sisters) is described by EW as "widower who wants nothing more than to help his young son heal from the loss of his mother."

And, his son, Owen (Benjamin Stockham, 1600 Penn), is "a precocious, strong-willed kid who isn't afraid to speak his mind -- but his free-spirited, lively personality is all a facade, as he's secretly dealing with the tragic death of his mother," according to The Hollywood Reporter
