ABC's 2014-2015 Schedule: Three-Hour Shonda Rhimes Block on Thursdays

ABC unveiled its Fall 2014 schedule, which includes a massive three-hour block of shows from executive producer Shonda Rhimes on Thursday nights. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. gets pushed back to 9pm while Sundays and Mondays remain the same.

The three-hour Shonda block on Thursdays begins with Grey's Anatomy, which moves up to 8pm for season 11. Scandal moves to 9pm while Rhimes' newest drama, How to Get Away with Murder, launches at 10pm.

ABC is also moving its Tuesday comedy hour from 9pm to 8pm with two new sitcoms while The Goldbergs moves into a better time slot, wedged between The Middle and Modern Family.

The network also has six shows ready for mid-season. It was announced that Marvel's Agent Carter will replace SHIELD during the hiatus between the fall and spring airings while back-to-back episodes of the musical fairy tale comedy Galavant will take over for Once Upon a Time during the same winter hiatus.

Similarly, new drama American Crime will take over Sundays at 9pm when Resurrection ends its 15 or 16 episode second season. And when How to Get Away with Murder ends in March, the Ryan Phillipe 10-episode event Secrets and Lies will take over at 10pm on Thursdays.

How to Get Away with Murder: From Scandal creator Shonda Rhimes, this drama is about a prominent law professor (Viola Davis) and her students.

Black-ish: Anthony Anderson stars in this sitcom about an upper-middle class African-American family.

Cristela: Comedy about a Mexican-American law student who clashes with her traditional family.

Manhattan Love Story: A romantic comedy about new relationships.

Selfie: My Fair Lady-esque comedy about a young woman (Doctor Who's Karen Gillan) who goes viral on social media for all the wrong reasons and struggles to repair her image.

NEW MID-SEASON DRAMAS

American Crime: A drama following the lives of the people involved in a racially charged trial, starring Felicity Huffman and Timothy Hutton.

The Astronaut Wives Club: Drama set in the 1960s about the women behind the men of the space race.

Marvel's Agent Carter: Set in 1946, this drama from the Marvel universe stars Hayley Atwell as her character from the Captain America films, Peggy Carter, as she goes on secret missions for Tony Stark's father.

Members Only: Soap opera about the employees and members of a private country club.

Secrets and Lies: A man (Ryan Phillippe) becomes the prime suspect in the murder of a young boy.

The Whispers: People race to stop an alien invasion in which the aliens are using human children, starring Milo Ventimiglia, Lily Rabe and Revenge's Barry Sloane.

NEW MID-SEASON COMEDIES

Fresh Off the Boat: Comedy about a Taiwanese-American family learning to assimilate.

Galavant: A fairy tale musical about a prince who seeks revenge against the king who stole his true love.
