Can't make it to London for the Olympic Games? Neither did the other 4 billion people who will be tuning in to watch the opening ceremonies on Friday. Just because you can't watch the games in person doesn't mean you can't get into the spirit, though. Throwing an Olympic viewing party is a great excuse to spend some quality time with loved ones, watch the world's greatest athletes kick some serious butt and partake of an adult beverage or two. So what are some fun activities that you can incorporate into your Olympic viewing party?
Olympic themed cocktails are a great way to get the party started. Since the five interlocking-rings that symbolize the Olympic Games are each a different color, you can mix a drink that matches each one. Don't be afraid to get creative here! With so many choices, there's bound to be a drink for everyone. Here's a list of the Olympic Ring colors and a drink idea for each one:
