If you're one of the many fans who got disappointed over the cancellation of Off the Map, then you'll probably want to relive the medical drama through the show's DVD, which will be available starting August 23 at the ABC store. The set includes all 13 episodes plus bonus footages and deleted scenes.

To those who are not familiar, Off the Map follows seven doctors as they try to find themselves and look for answers as to why they became doctors in the first place while serving in a small and remote South African village. The show featured Martin Henderson as Dr. Benjamin "Ben" Keeton, who's deemed as "one of the world's greatest humanitarians." Jason Winston George played Otis Cole, a doctor who likes to work hard and play hard, while Valerie Cruz appeared as  Zita Alareina "Zee" Toledo Alvarez, also known as the mother hen of the doctors.  There's also Caroline Dhavernas as the control freak Dr. Lily Brenner, Zach Gilford as the promiscuous Dr. Tommy Fulle, Mamie Gummer as Dr. Mina Minard and Rachelle Lefevreas Dr. Ryan Clark. Shonda Rhimes and Betsy Beers, the folks behind Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice, produced the short-lived series while Jenna Bans served as the creator.

Off the Map ran from January 12, 2011 to April 6, 2011 and was canceled in May, along with Brothers and Sisters, V, No Ordinary Family, Better With You, Detroit 1-8-7and Mr. Sunshine. Meanwhile, the network has ordered 12 new shows, including three comedies and seven dramas, that might pique your interest.
