In the
October Road installment, We Lived Like Giants, Nick (
Bryan Greenberg) is worried with how Aubrey (
Odette Yustman) will react when her troubled father, Gabriel Diaz (guest star Armand Assante,

Also, Nick, Owen (
Brad William Henke), Ronnie (guest star Jonathan Murphy,
Wildfire), Aubrey, Gabriel and The Commander go on a road trip to locate the girl who saved Owen's life, during which The Commander attempts to recreate a time from the boys' childhood before facing the truth of his condition. Meanwhile, Eddie (
Geoff Stults) and Physical Phil (
Jay Paulson) assist Sam (
Slade Pearce) with his science project.
Guest stars in next week's
October Road include Penny Johnson Jerald (
The 4400, 24) as Dean Etwood,
Sean Gunn (
Gilmore Girls) as Rooster and Eric Tiede (
Criminal Minds) as Brian.
“We Lived Like Giants” was written by Victoria Strouse (
