John Hensley, who plays Matt McNamara on Nip/Tuck, will be gracing yet another horror film this month.  This time, however, he'll be part of Shutter a remake of a 2004 movie that has been nominated for the 2005 Golden Kinnaree Award at the Bangkok International Film Festival and has been especially well-received in Thailand, Singapore, Philippines and Brazil.

The remake of Shutter will follow the story of a young couple who begins to see ghostly images in their photographs.  It is being directed by Masayuki Ochiai, and is expected to be released on March 21.

Serving as lead stars of Shutter are Joshua Jackson (Dawson's Creek) and Rachel Taylor, who plays the newlywed couple Ben and Jane.  They move to Japan for a promising job opportunity in the form of a fashion shoot in Tokyo.  However, they experience a tragic car accident during their trip on a dark forest road, leading to the death of young local girl.  Upon regaining consciousness, they find no trace of her body.  Though the couple is a little distressed, they arrive in Tokyo to start their new life only to discover strange white blurs in many of Ben's fashion shoot photographs. Eventually, they speculate that the blurs are actually spirit photography of the dead girl who they hit on the road, and that she may be seeking vengeance.

Joining Jackson and Taylor in the upcoming movie is Nip/Tuck actor Hensley, who will be portraying the role of Adam.  The movie also stars James Kyson Lee (Heroes, A Couple of White Chicks at the Hairdresser), David Denman (The Office, Smart People), Maya Hazen (Beyond the Break, Lucky You), and Megumi Okina (Ju-on: The Grudge, Red Shadow: Akakage), just to name a few.

Meanwhile, this isn't Hensley's first big screen project.  Since joining Nip/Tuck, he has been cast in Peoples, Fifty Pill and the most recently in Teeth.
