Kat Dennings, who currently stars in the recently-released romantic comedy Nick and Norah’s Infinite Playlist, is set to star in the upcoming film Defendor.  The film, which also stars Woody Harrelson and Sandra Oh, centers on Arthur (Harrelson), a regular man who believes he has a secret superhero identity.  Oh will play his psychiatrist, while Dennings plays a teenager who the protagonist befriends.

The film marks the directorial debut of Peter Stebbings, who also wrote the film.  Production is expected to begin next month in Toronto, and it is expected that the film will debut in the festival circuit before hopefully getting a domestic distribution deal.
