It was clear by her attitude at the Real Housewives of Atlanta season 6 reunion that original star NeNe Leakes was no longer enjoying her time on the show. Now it seems she is dropping hints that she may not return for season 7.

According to Fox News, she said at the Bravo upfronts this weekend if she wants to continue on in a full-time capacity.

“I’m happy to do some things,” she said. “I don’t know if I’m happy to be a full-time Housewife. I will still work for Bravo. We just need to work out some things.”

Other rumors suggest that NeNe is being fired by Bravo, as opposed to quitting, after her performance at the reunion. Her derogatory comments toward gays being especially upsetting to Andy Cohen.

“He was pissed about the way that NeNe acted on the reunion this year, so much so that he might not ask her to come back,” according to an inside source at Life & Style. “He thinks she has become a diva and was very irritated with her for not really answering his questions.”

RadarOnlineĀ is also reporting that Bravo was not happy when NeNe not only demanded a raise but wanted to be in control of filming schedules for her castmates. If any of this is true, NeNe might be trying to spin things to look like leaving is her idea. Either way, Bravo maintains there have been no official decisions made for next season’s cast.

“I’ve grown and I’m in a different place in my life,” she said at the upfronts. “I personally don’t want to go to work every day where you have to be negative. When I wake up every morning and I go off to be negative, it just feels like it spills over into my regular life. You become what you work.”

Her negativity this season is probably something that she and fans and producers alike can all agree on.

“Never continue in a job you don’t enjoy!” NeNe tweeted last week. “Follow your passion and success will follow you!”
