Daniel Curtis Lee has not had much major television or movie roles, but this young actor does not disappoint when it comes to his latest television series Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide. But getting a spot on the Nickelodeon sitcom wasn’t such a walk in the park. Like a lot of aspiring actors, Daniel had to go through a number of auditions and spent a lot of time waiting for the right opportunity to come along. He started acting when he was seven years old, but his first big acting job came in 2002 for a movie called Friday After Next. He then had several guest appearances television shows like
The Shield and First Monday. Daniel now co-stars with Devon Werkheiser and Lindsey Shaw on the teen comedy series, Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide.
Simon Nelson-Cook, played by Daniel Curtis Lee on Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide, is a smart and computer-savvy eighth-grader who uses his knowledge to help him get through the perils of middle school. He joins his best friends Ned and Moze in overcoming relatively difficult situations by following Ned’s so-called survival guide. Keeping his reputation as the resident genius is not easy, as he has to maintain a grade not lower than an A and at the same time keep his attendance record absence-free. His family is also quite affluent, yet he tries to keep his wealth a secret.
