NCIS Season 11 continues on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 with an episode called "Anonymous Was a Woman." How will a case lead Gibbs to memories of Mike Franks? Check out a sneak peek and read the official episode synopsis below.
First up, let's take a look at the official synopsis from the episode:
Gibbs and McGee travel to Afghanistan when a murder case leads them to an Afghan women's shelter Mike Frank's secretly supported for years.
Now let's take a look at the preview for the episode.
Last week the team moved forward after Ziva's final goodbye and from the synopsis and the preview, it looks like the team is still trying to do that, while also working a new case that inevitably leads them back to the past. It's enough to make one's head hurt, but considering it means a return of the beloved Mike Franks, it's well worth it.
Here are a few things we learned from the preview:
Abby is not interested in back-tracking.
Gibbs gives Tony another head slap! Was that the first one of Season 11?
Ghost Franks appears to have returned. That doesn't look like a flashback given that Gibbs looks exactly the same as he does now.
Then again, those could be flashbacks since Gibbs is seen clearly arguing with Franks. Could it be we'll see a mix of both Ghost Franks and Flashback Franks in this episode?
Gibbs is the maddest he has ever been at Franks.
Gibbs and McGee get into danger in Afghanistan, but Gibbs refuses to leave without completing their mission.
Looks like another intense episode. What did you think after reading the synopsis and watching the preview for this episode of NCIS?
