More details about the highly anticipated NCIS spin-off are gradually coming out in the open.  According to The Hollywood Reporter, Louise Lombard, Peter Cambor and Daniela Ruah have all been added as leads in the CBS series.  The three would join Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J, who are reportedly still in negotiations for the other two lead roles.

Three More Join 'NCIS' Spin-off

The show started to take shape last December when the main characters of the spin-off were revealed.  At the time, eager fans learned about Callen, an average Joe in his 30s who can easily change personas, Clara Macy, a tough MP in her early 40s who serves as a mother figure to the younger guys at the team, Nate “Doc” Getz, a witty operational psychologist, Kensi Lo, a young Asian-American who has an impeccable record in forensics and criminology, Sam Hanna, an Iraq veteran, and last but not the least, Dominic Vaile, a surveillance expert.

, who will be playing the role of Clara Macy, is a 38-year-old English actress who has starred in the cult classic Tale of the Mummy, as well as the movie Esther with F. Murray Abraham. She has also appeared on CSI as a recurring character Sofia Curtis.  At present, she is filming yet another pilot for CBS called Wanted.

Peter Cambor, on the other will be portraying the quick-witted Nate, also known as the team’s conscience and a walking encyclopedia of American culture.  The 30-year-old actor is most noted for his role on Notes from the Underbelly.

As for Daniela Ruah, she’ll be playing super-intelligent Kensi.  Aside from the NCIS spin-off, Ruah has also been cast as the lead in Midnight Passion, a crime thriller film about a young woman running from the law who encounters three people in a bar that changes the course of her life.

Fans can catch the spin-off’s pilot episode as it airs as a regular installment of NCIS in the spring.
