Lauren Holly's television credits include "Chicago Hope" and "Picket Fences," both on CBS. Most recently, Holly was seen in the television movie "King of Texas," and in the miniseries "Jackie, Ethel, Joan: Women of Camelot." Holly's extensive feature film credits include "Dumb and Dumber," "What Women Want," "No Looking Back," "Any Given Sunday," "Sabrina," "Turbulence," "Beautiful Girls," "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story," "A Smile Like Yours," "The Adventures of Ford Fairlane," "Down Periscope," "Entropy" and "The Last Producer." Other recent projects include "Colored Eggs," "Don't You Cry for Me," "Pavement," "Godfather of Green Bay" and "The Chumscrubber." Additionally, Holly played the lead in Disney's Oscar-winning animated motion picture "Spirited Away" as the voice of Chihiro's mother. She plays the role of Jennifer Shephard in the CBS series NCIS.
Jennifer "Jenny" Shephard is the Director of NCIS after her predecessor, Thomas Morrow, takes a job at the Department of Homeland Security. In the past, she was Agent Gibbs' partner and became romantically involved with him, but now will only act in the purview of being his superior officer.
