To sign or not to sign?
That is what we'll find out on tonight's episode of NCIS. And to make things more exciting, "Good Cop, Bad Copy" is another Ziva-centric episode. An investigation forces Ziva (Cote de Pablo) to dig up a lost chapter of her life, which currently hangs in the balance depending on whether or not Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will sign up her clearance to return to NCIS or not (of course, there's another signature that is oh-so-important in the current proceedings, by the way, lest we forget).
On the poll on our NCIS recap
last week though where we asked this little to-sign-or-not-to-sign debacle, a big chunk - 87 percent - thought Gibbs would sign it. And we know he will.
Last week on the CBS procedural, there was a case of a killed blogger who exposed a cover-up that was inadvertently involved an old NCIS
case. But I think fans were more excited over what's going on with Ziva than with the actual case - the talk about the coffins and McGee's bird poop sniper bullet were awesome, though. Throughout the episode, it's obvious that Gibbs is not the type to just let bygones be bygones quickly. It's understandable, and it's obvious that his cold shoulder treatment of Ziva is not out of the blue.
On the other hand, I'm slightly bothered that they were able to finish the case last week with little help from Ziva (she did help, because she was on her desk the whole day, but not as much as the others), so it means that the NCIS
team can function without her. Yet at the end of the day, most fans think - and I agree - that it's not just the same without Ziva on the team, so all this drama about signing or not signing will hopefully come to pass.
