The
Tiva war is still very much alive on
NCIS, more so after both Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo revealed what they thought of the pairing, and from the looks of things,
NCIS is determined to take advantage of all the attention by creating even more drama for the divisive couple.
Entertainment Weekly reports that
Jericho alum Ashley Scott has been cast for an upcoming May episode of
NCIS, and Tony (Weatherly) will reportedly take a "special interest" in her case.
Of course, it can very well be a one-episode gig with absolutely no repercussion on Tiva, but we know how one episode can go a long way on this show.
Scott, 32, will play Dana Hutton, a ZNN reporter who vanishes without a trace. The whole
NCIS team is tasked to track her down, but one member of the team in particular - Tony - takes a special interest in the case. It's not clear whether Tony will be interested in the case per se or her case.
The
Jericho alum was also the star of the short-lived WB drama
Birds of Prey and counts
Dark Angel as her other major screen credit.
