After some Tiva on this season of
NCIS, Cote de Pablo tells
TV Guide that enough of Tiva, the season finale will be about
NCIS leader Gibbs (Mark Harmon).

The good news is, this eradicates speculations that Harmon might not be back next season for the top-rating procedural. The bad news is, this might mean tackling Gibbs' romantic life, something which some
NCIS fans would rather left untouched.
Both Allison Hart (Rena Sofer) and Holly Snow (Dina Meyer) will reportedly be
in the fray.
Harmon says Snow is "an interesting ally" as she is both "uncomfortable" and "odd" in some ways. As for the hard-nosed Mr. Gibbs-calling attorney, it has been reported previously that Sofer is set to return for multiple episodes in May.
Says
NCIS big boss Shane Brennan, Sofer's character will "
set in motion a chain of events that forces Gibbs to make a life-changing decision." This decision, he adds, will "impact every member of his team."
But since top of mind would be romantic options for Gibbs, Harmon cautions: "Whatever fans are thinking, they're wrong" because it is "never the obvious" on
NCIS.

It is time to let out some of those nuggets. We've earned them. They come for the procedure but now we have earned the right to break off another piece of the puzzle."
