ABC has ordered an initial six-episode installment for a new interactive game show from
Average Joe creator Andrew Glassman called
National Bingo Night, which gives a new interactive twist to the most popular game of chance.
National Bingo Night allows both studio audience and viewers at home to participate in a game of Bingo. In each game, a contestant will attempt to beat the studio audience as numbered balls are randomly selected from a huge sphere situated in a state-of-the-art “Bingo Plex.” The studio audience will keep an eye on their own Bingo cards for a chance to earn cash and prizes, sending home the contestant empty-handed.
Hosted by
Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’s
Ed Sanders,
National Bingo Night premieres Friday, May 18, 2007 at 9/8C on ABC.
