As mentioned before, global manga licensing company VIZ Media is putting in great marketing efforts to promote Naruto and to further expand its growing fan base.  In addition to the release of the DVDs, much-awaited comic books, and making the animated series available for digital download, the company has also teamed up with Trans World Entertainment Corporation, one of the largest specialty music and video retailers in the United States, to launch a special holiday retail campaign for the new three-disc Deluxe Edition of Naruto The Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow.

Released on November 13, the new three-disc Deluxe Edition of Naruto The Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow promises many extras and features that the standard U.S. DVD released a few months earlier did not include.  It has the 10-minute short "Konoha Annual Sports Festival" that was originally shown with the Japanese release of the film, the complete soundtrack to the movie, a rare behind-the-scenes look at the dubbing sessions for the domestic release of the film, documentaries of the American voice recording of the movie, movie art postcards, and other bonus features.  All are packaged in an engraved full-color collector's tin with a suggested retail price of $29.98.

Part of VIZ Media's efforts in promoting this new release is the use of various advertising mediums, including web, print, broadcast and related multimedia.
