If you’re a Naruto fan and cannot wait to get your hands on some collectibles, then you must be happy to know that a bunch of Naruto DVDs are coming your way later this year.  In fact, Viz Media, the company responsible for distributing Naruto merchandise all over the United States, has recently announced the release dates of volumes 27 and 28 of the Naruto DVD.

Volume 27 is set to be released on September 2, while Volume 28 is set to be released on September 30.  Both discs cost $19.98 each. Moreover, the box set for the uncut Volume 10 will be available in retail stores beginning October 14 this year.  The uncut Volume 10 DVD will come in two types—the regular edition, which costs $49.98, and the special edition, which retails for $69.98.

Meanwhile, Manga fans will also be able to celebrate with the release of Volume 28, tagged “Homecoming.”  The Manga, which includes a full color bonus, is now available for the retail price of $7.95.  The 200-page Manga follows Naruto after his two year stint to train with Jiraiya.  He then reunites with his friends, who seem to have progressed more than he did.  However, Naruto gets a chance to prove himself when one of his friends gets kidnapped.

Fans can also prepare for the release of the Winter 2008 posterzine, which is set to be release on January 15, 2009.  The posterzine, which features 11 large posters, including two original posterzine images created for this issue alone, will be available at the retail price of $6.99.  The colorful posters are approximately 16 by 22 inches big, and will depict the adventures of Naruto and his good friends as they journey through the Hidden Leaf Village as ninjas-in-training.
