Consisting of 200 pages,
Naruto Volume 28: Homecoming continues the story of Naruto as he reunites with his old friends to find out he's still not the most accomplished of his former teammates, after two years of training with Jiraiya. But when one of them is kidnapped, it's up to Naruto to prove he's got the stuff to save him.
Broadcast on Cartoon Network,
Naruto centers on a young ninja named
Naruto Uzumaki, who is determined to become the greatest ninja of all time. As the series progresses, this mischievous lad with a fierce desire for attention has immensely honed his fighting skills, along with various characters like

The television series is adapted from the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto, who is also the author of
Naruto Volume 25: Homecoming.
Kishimoto made his debut in
Weekly Shonen Jump in 1999 with
Naruto, which immediately became a big hit among people of all ages as he added a modern flavor to the ancient world of Japanese ninja to make it the novel appealing. Upon serializing
Naruto, he won the "Hop Step Award."
At present,
Naruto is still ongoing, with more than 380 chapters, and has sold over 71 million copies in Japan as of volume 36, and also being adapted into two successful anime series.
