Cartoon Network will be starting the year with back-to-back episodes of
Naruto. Tonight, viewers will get to enjoy "A Cry on Deaf Ears," where
Naruto has finally caught up with
Sasuke, and "Brothers: Distance Among the Uchiha," which continues Naruto and Sasuke's battle.
Read on to find out what's in store for the two episodes of
Naruto.
First up is "A Cry on Deaf Ears," which contains a lot of flashbacks between Naruto and Sasuke. Sasuke is determined to follow his own path and refuses to take orders from anyone. He tells Naruto to go home. No matter how much Naruto tries to convince him, Sasuke refuses. Sasuke decides to leave, and Naruto realizes the only way to stop him is by force.
The action continues in the episode "Brothers: Distance Among the Uchiha." This installment features Sasuke as he attempts to burn Naruto. Naruto, however, surfaces out of the fire and attacks Sasuke. Naruto then tries to throw punches at him but his repeated attempts do not affect Sasuke.
Sasuke flashes back to his younger version. He is getting a piggy-back ride from his brother and notices the police station where his father works. Sasuke becomes upset that his father is going to have to miss the school's opening ceremony. Itachi later explains that he will miss the mission and would rather go to Sasuke's ceremony.
The teacher talks to Sasuke's father and admits that Sasuke is the school's first genius and expects great things from him. Sasuke trains and returns home to hear that Itachi was accepted into the secret services. Sasuke practices some more to try to become closer to his brother's strength.
At school, Sasuke gets his report card with outstanding grades. He shows it to his father, who tells him to keep up the good work and he too will be as great as his brother. Sasuke becomes distressed due to fact that his father still favors Itachi.
In present time, Sasuke tells Naruto he wants him to experience the ability of the sharingan.
Naruto airs tonight at 9pm on Cartoon Network.
