Naruto: Preview of This Week's Episodes
Thursday, June 19, 2008

narutoThis Saturday, Naruto fans can look forward to back-to-back new episodes of the groundbreaking animated program based on the Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto.  The action kicks off with the episode “Run, Dodge, Zigzag! Chase or Be Chased!”

Read on to find out what's in store for Naruto this week.

Naruto tells the story of Naruto Uzumaki, a hyperactive young ninja who constantly searches for recognition and aspires to become a Hokage, the ninja in his village that is acknowledged as the leader and the strongest of all.

“Run, Dodge, Zigzag! Chase or Be Chased!” picks up with Kiba, Naruto, and Hinata trapped by Kaisen Agari and the doppelgangers of the three young shinobi.  Naruto, Kiba, and Hinata have to make it back to Konoha and stop their evil look-alikes from ruining their village.  The impostors initially think it'll be an easy task, but they soon find out that it's not going to be that easy as the real Naruto and Kiba expose their weakness.

The suspense continues in the episode called “Please, Mr. Postman!” where Naruto unexpectedly meets up with Jiraiya while in another area and demands that he trains him.

Unfortunately, Jiraiya refuses since he has to finish the script for his next volume of his series. Hungry to sharpen his skills, Naruto writes it for him and mails it off.  Jiraiya, who knows that his reputation is at stake, forces Naruto to accompany him on a quest to get it back.  The Courier Ninja, however, won't allow this to happen that easily.  The situation takes a turn for the worse as Naruto mixes up his delivery with an important message to the Fang Country.

Now, Naruto races with time as he attempts to fix the mess or else war will break out.

Don't forget to catch “Run, Dodge, Zigzag! Chase or Be Chased!” and “Please, Mr. Postman!” on Saturday, June 21 on Cartoon Network.
