Cartoon Network will air two new episodes of
Naruto, starting off this Saturday with “The End of Tears” and “The Promise That Could Not Be Kept.” Fans will finally discover who will emerge victorious as the battle between Naruto and Sasuke comes to a close.
Read on to find out what's in store for these two
Naruto episodes.
“The End of Tears” follows
Sasuke as he activates his curse seal level 2.
Naruto takes on Sasuke by putting his hand in the ground, consequently cracking the ground and hitting Sasuke with a destructive punch.
While wings eventually come out of Sasuke's back, Naruto's powers become risky to him. A number of flashbacks are shown before Sasuke performs some seals and a chidori forms on his hand. Naruto, on the other hand, forms a rasengen on his hand. Sasuke's chidori becomes a dark chidori and Naruto's rasengen appears as a big sphere on his hand. Both of the ninjas charge each other and collide.
Following “The End of Tears,” Shikamaru reflects upon how the operation did not go well as Tsunade, Shizune, and the rest of the medical ninja desperately work to save the lives of Choji and Neji, as well as help the others recover in “The Promise That Could Not Be Kept.”
Naruto is seen on
Kakashi's back as they go through the woods. Naruto soon asks Kakashi where Sasuke is but Kakashi does not answer. Meanwhile, Chouji and Neji are still in critical condition.
Shikamaru asks Naruto what happened to Sasuke and Naruto says that he got away.
Sakura is at the door and she hears what Naruto said and she is surprised to find out that Sasuke is not yet back. The 5th is seen walking down where Sakura is and asks Sakura if she came to visit Naruto the 5th opens the door to see Naruto and Shikamaru talking. Naruto notices Sakura come in and tells her about what happened and promises that he will bring Sasuke back.
Can Naruto keep his promise to Sakura? Find out on Saturday at 9pm on Cartoon Network.
