Kakashi? Find out in next week's episode of
Naruto entitled “Formation! New Team Kakashi,” which is scheduled to air on Thursday, November 15.
Broadcast on Cartoon Network,
Naruto is an animated show adapted from the manga series written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. It revolves around the adventures of the main character, Naruto Uzumaki, a loud and hyperactive ninja who is constantly searching for recognition and to be acknowledged as a leader and strongest of all ninjas in the village. The series also features
Sasuke, the talented Academy heartthrob, and Sakura, a fierce fighter whose ultimate dream is to become a female ninja. As the series progress, more character are developed and more villains come into play as well.
In last week's episode “The New Target,” Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi returned to Konoha, also known as Village Hidden in the Leaves and one of the five villages with a Kage as its leader, after accomplishing their mission. On the other hand, as Naruto desperately seeks out a new team member, he encounters a mysterious boy with strange abilities who attacks him.
In next week's episode entitled “Formation! New Team Kakashi,” Naruto, with the aid of some old friends, manages to force the boy to back away. Unfortunately, things go from bad to worse for Naruto since the boy who just attacked him is actually assigned to join Team Kakashi, which also includes Yamato, Naruto, Sakura Haruno, Shino Aburame, Hinata Hyuga, and Kiba Inuzuka. The boy's name is revealed to be Sai and is a member of the ANBU Roots. Among the members of the 8-Man Squad, Yamato steps up to become the team leader in place of the injured Kakashi.
